Hot Folder
Details
PosterJet offers the possibility to process and print files on a fully automated basis through so called Hot Folders. Users may create an unlimited number of monitored folders (Hot Folders), which can each be equipped with defined job parameters (so called Job Templates). Files that will now be copied to these monitored folders will automatically be transferred to the PosterJet main or nest queue, according to the specifications in the job template.

Job History
Details
Each PosterJet print job generates an entry in the Job History, containing the name and print parameters of each printed job. The Job History may contain up to 1000 entries and offers the possiblity to easily reprint one or more jobs with only one mouse click. Jobs may be resubmitted to the main or nest queue and can be modified at any time before reprint. All job parameters stored in the Job History can easily be exported to Excel to serve as basis for cost calculation.

Nest
Details
A number of nest algorithms are available to the user when it comes to automatically and optimally place multiple jobs on the loaded media. PosterJet optimally combines a number of individual jobs automatically to one single new job, minimizing paper wastage to an absolute minimum. Once the new job has been submitted to the main queue, the user can rearrange, rotate, or delete single or multiple jobs within the nest job before printing (in Nest Preview).

Media Settings
Details
Paper settings may be changed in the “Media Settings” tab that can be found in the lower section of the PosterJet main window. Users can select the corresponding profile for their loaded media from the vast list of available media profiles and will be notified whenever the printer front panel setting is not matching the current requirement. Required Printer Settings and Current Printer Settings are displayed next to each other so that the user can always control both settings.

Tiling
Details
PosterJet offers a tiling module with very comfortable and extensive features helping the user to quickly and intuitively create oversized prints onto multiple tiles. With Auto-tiling turned on PosterJet scales the image to the selected size and automatically adjusts the number of tiles accoring to the paper width loaded in the printer. The user may set values for overlap or gap and may also change the vertical and horizontal size of each individual tile.
